ABOUT
Black Pine Tree House is a cabin located in Nassagaweya on the Niagara Escarpment. The Escarpment is a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve with the oldest forest ecosystem in eastern North America. This cabin is on a rural property but is also only 20 minutes from the city. Several hiking trails and conservation areas, including Kelso, Rockwood and Mountsberg are only a few minutes away.
Whether you are looking for a quiet escape from the city or to experience the beauty of southern Ontario, Black Pine offers a a comfortable stay in a unique natural setting.

Downtown Toronto and the CN Tower are 45 minutes from the cabin. Niagara Falls is about 1 hour. Toronto Pearson International Airport is about 35 minutes away.

THE CABIN
The cabin you are booking has a modern rustic design. It includes all the amenities needed to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a small kitchenette, a bath and a reading nook. The forest setting is the highlight of the experience and was the inspiration for the design of the cabin.

THE PROPERTY
The property has a 7 acre forest with a walking path. Most of the trees are deciduous, so the fall is a particularly beautiful time of year. There are also several perennial gardens and a large natural pond.

SEE & DO
The forest trail on the property is about a 1 km walk and if you like running, you can do a few laps. The perennial gardens include a large variety of both native and specialty flowers. The hosta garden includes almost 100 different varieties and can be enjoyed alone or with a guided tour. The open space by the rock garden is perfect for some yoga and for some light fun you can enjoy a game of horseshoes.
